Dailyless does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or contacts.

One Thing stays in this browser

Your One Thing sentence, optional reflection, drafts, history, and archive are stored only in this browser. Dailyless cannot read, recover, or synchronize that writing. Clearing this site’s browser data or changing device can remove it.

Archiving an individual past record moves it into a local archive. Archived records do not expire automatically. You may restore them individually or in a batch, or permanently delete all archived records after confirmation. Active records and drafts are not removed.

Image cards are laid out and generated in your browser. Dailyless does not upload the words or generated images. Downloading, opening, or using your device’s share sheet hands the image only to the browser or operating system action you explicitly choose.

Product analytics

Dailyless uses Google Analytics 4 to record page views and a limited allowlist of product actions. For One Thing these actions include confirming or reselecting, saving or removing a reflection, opening history or the archive, archiving or restoring records, batch archive actions, opening the card composer, starting a download, completing or cancelling the operating system share flow, and switching language. Google Analytics may collect session, browser and device, referral, approximate location, and first-party cookie information.

What is never sent

We do not send One Thing sentences, reflections, drafts, previous text, selected passages, text length, keywords, record dates or counts, page counts, signature settings, filenames, card images, localStorage contents, or directly identifying account information. We do not derive semantic categories from your writing. Automatic click capture and session recording are disabled. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled, and analytics data is not used for advertising.

Your browser controls

Dailyless respects the browser’s Do Not Track preference. You can clear this site’s browser data at any time to remove local tool records and reset the analytics cookie identifier.
